Our breakfast on Thursday November 3rd was in the Medusa Ballroom of Palazzo Versace, Main Beach.

Coming direct from the Melbourne Cup festivities – Australia’s Mr Manners and Fashion Editor of the Australian Financial Review – David Meagher.

We listened to David’s ultimate secrets of how to dress to impress and hold an audience in the palm of your hand, and we heard what the who’s who are wearing for Melbourne Cup Week.

When it comes to style, we learnt that what you wear undernearth is just as important as what you choose to wear on top. As a special feature, we were lucky enough to partake in a very special 'Girls Eyes Only' lingerie parade by Callan Lifestyle with the latest men’s and women’s undercover wear.

Australia's leading perfume expert, John Oaks, confirmed what the movie "Scent of a Woman" has already told us - you can tell a lot about a woman by the fragrance she wears!

We had the chance to listen to John talk about the secrets of perfume - how to lure the man of your dreams, tantalise your co-workers and leave a lasting impression. John told us what not to wear, and explained about the secret locations to dab your favourite fragrance for maximum effect.
